Terms of Use
1. Purpose
These terms set out the rights and obligations of ETERNAXCODE (the “Operator”) and users in connection with the Stackbox app (the “App”) provided by the Operator.
2. Service
- The App is a free service that lets you record habits grouped into boxes, and shows growth and analysis based on your records.
- Records are stored on the user’s device by default. Members who sign in with Apple or Google can use account backup and shared boxes.
- The Operator may fix or change the service. For important changes, we will notify you in advance through the App or this page.
3. Account
- You sign in with an Apple or Google account. You are responsible for managing your sign-in information.
- You can delete your account at any time from My profile in the App. Deleting it also deletes your league records and backup, and they cannot be restored.
4. League
- The league is a feature in which users who use the same official box compete on XP over one week. Your nickname, XP, streak and number of goals completed are visible to other league participants.
- You may not use a nickname that offends others or impersonates someone else.
- Creating records you did not actually complete, or manipulating the App or servers to raise XP, is prohibited. The Operator may remove such records from the standings or restrict league participation.
5. Shared boxes
- A shared box lets a member invite friends with an invite code to fill the same box together. The box and goal names written by the person who opened it, and each member’s nickname and how much they filled each day, are visible to the people in that shared box.
- The Operator does not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. Box and goal names must not contain profanity, obscene or violent expressions, hateful or discriminatory expressions, advertising or promotion, illegal activity, or contact details or other people’s personal information, and you must not harass others.
- Anyone can report a shared box or a person, and hide people they don’t want to see. The person who opened a shared box can remove members.
- The Operator reviews reports within 24 hours. If the content violates these terms, the Operator closes the shared box or restricts that user’s use of the service.
6. Records and backup
- Records stored on your device belong to you, and the Operator cannot see them.
- If you uninstall the App or lose your device without having backup turned on, your records cannot be restored.
- Backup is a supplementary means of protecting your records. The Operator does not guarantee that your backup is always up to date.
7. Limitation of liability
- The App is a tool to help you record habits. It does not replace professional advice on health, medicine, or study.
- The Operator is not liable for damages caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, communication failures, or outages of third-party services (Apple, Google). This limitation does not cover damages caused by the Operator’s intent or gross negligence.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post notice on this page at least 7 days before the change takes effect. For changes that are unfavorable to users, we will give notice at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree to the changed terms, you may delete your account and stop using the App.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are handled by a court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
