Delete your account and data
You can delete your Stackbox account right in the App. If you can’t use the App, email us to request deletion.
Delete in the App
- Open Stackbox and tap the profile button to the right of the tab title to go to My profile.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Tap Delete. If you signed in with Apple or Google, you’ll need to sign in once more to confirm it’s you.
Request deletion by email
Please send an email to support@eternaxcode.com with the subject “Stackbox account deletion request.” If you include the email address of the Apple or Google account you used to sign in, or your league nickname, we will verify your identity, delete your data within 7 days, and reply to you.
What gets deleted
- Account: your account identifier and the link to your Apple or Google sign-in (email address, name)
- League: all league records (nickname, XP) for every week, and your nickname. Deleted nicknames can be chosen again by others.
- Backup: the boxes, goals, and check records stored in your account
- Member information: the interests you picked
- Shared boxes: your row in the shared boxes you joined. Shared boxes you opened are closed, and their invite code and everyone’s rows are deleted together.
Deleted data cannot be restored.
Keep your account and delete only some data
- Backup: My profile → Backup → Delete account backup. The backup on the server is deleted, and automatic backup turns off.
- League records: tap Leave league at the bottom of the league screen. Your row is removed from the standings.
- Usage stats: turn off My profile → Data → Share usage stats to stop further collection.
What remains
- Records on your device: these are stored on the device separately from your account, so they stay as they are. They are deleted when you uninstall the App.
- Reports: reports you sent are kept for one year after review, then deleted.
- Usage stats: collected only with an app installation identifier that is not linked to your account. They are automatically deleted up to 14 months after collection. Turning off My profile → Data → Share usage stats stops further collection.
